New Beginnings started in business in 1983 with the desire of bring quality furniture restoration to central Missouri at a reasonable cost. The pledge, or what we now call mission statement, is summed up in the phrase used on my first stationary: ”professional workmanship”. This desire to produce quality work at an affordable price has lead me to other areas.

The SunHeat quartz heater was a product that I researched for four months, not only checking the quality, but also comparing it to other units to see if it met my standards. SunHeat not only meets my standards, but with its 3 year in shop warrantee, exceeded my goal of not only selling a quality product but also standing behind it.

The line of enzyme cleaners are what is truly needed at a time when the phrase “green” is used but standards are not always met. I’ll continue to carry these products and only sell natural enzyme products, not the watered down chemicals that call themselves green. These plant-based products kill mold and bacteria and even prevent problems in the garden. All done without harm to the environment.

New Beginning has and will continue to be a family owned and operated business where you not only deal with people that know the product but that use the product. Alan and Helen have employed their children in the business whether sweeping floors or assisting Alan in chores in the workshop. We believe in Moberly and are members of the Moberly Chamber of Commerce and look forward to many more years of growth. We are located at 120 W. Reed in an area that was once called the “levee” and own a building that is in the original business district.
